Grilled Chicken from Klaten is one of the dishes from klaten that tastes sweet and delicious, perfect served with sambal
Ingredients :
- 1 whole chicken, cut into 4-8 parts
- 2 bay leaves, galangal 2 cm and crushed
- 4 lime leaves, boned, shredded
- 1 stalk lemongrass, white taken and crushed

- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon tamarind
- 600 ml coconut milk from 1 coconut
- 2 tablespoons oil for sauteing
Ground spices :
- 1 teaspoon coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon cumin and roasted
- 10 red onions
- 4 cloves garlic
- 5 eggs hazelnut and roasted
- 1 cm ginger
- 1 cm turmeric and burnt
Processing Method:
- Heat the oil. Saute ground spices, bay leaves, lime leaves, galangal and lemongrass until fragrant. Add chicken. Stir until the color changes.
- Enter the coconut milk, salt, brown sugar, and acid water. Cook until absorbed and spices and coconut milk thickened
