Potato Curry

This is a basic potato curry anyone can cook easily.This can be accompanied with a breakfast item like Appam or at your lunch time with rice or at Dinner with Chapatis etc.
Addition of fresh thick Coconut milk gives this a nice and yummy taste.You can use a pressure cooker for an easy cooking of the Potatoes,but should take care that the potatoes don't get mashed up,it should be completely cooked but firm.Now on to the recipe

Ingredients
Potato     2 medium sized(peeled and cut into cubes)
Onion     1 finely chopped
Tomato   1 finely chopped
Garlic pods    3 finely chopped
Green Chillies  2 slit
Kashmiri chilly powder  1 tsp
Cumin seeds powder  1/4 tsp
Coriander powder  11/2 tsp
Garam masala powder 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder    1/4 tsp
Water     11/2 cups 
Thick Coconut milk   3/4 cup
Mustard seeds   1/2  tsp
Oil    2 tsp
Coriander leaves chopped   3 tbsp

Method
-Heat a pan and when hot add oil.and splutter the mustard seeds.
-Now and the mustard seeds,when the mustard seeds splutter and in the onion.
-After a minute add in the chopped garlic and the slit green chillies.
-When the onion turns translucent and in the tomatoes and cook till mushy.
-Now add the chilly,coriander and turmeric powder.
-Mix and add water.When the water boils add the cubed potatoes.
-Cover and cook for sometime.
-Now add the cumin seed powder and the garam masala.
-When the Potatoes are cooked well,add the thick coconut milk and the coriander leaves.
-When it boils switch off the flame and serve.
